Merry Christmas

As we celebrate Christ's birth and as I look back at this year and loosing our son, Sylus, I can't help but think of Christ's life and the many sacrifices He made for me so that through Him, I may be worthy to live again with my Heavenly Father. As a mother of a child that has gone all too quickly, I think of Mary, Jesus' mother. What strength and love she had for her son. I'm so thankful at this time to know of God's plan, to have been able to hold my son for even just a little while, and know the sacrifice Sylus made for me to even begin to learn to be a better person and mother. How having and loosing him has strengthened my testimony and our family.

Nathaniel is in the Young Men Presidency and very busy with camping and youth activities. He is also very busy with work.

Sarah is in the Relief Society Presidency and enjoys serving the sisters. She has had many girl nights with her friends within the ward and many ask for more girl time. She is busy with Ethan and Isaac and playing house.

Ethan is 7 and loves to be with his friends. One friend, Reese, has older brothers and Ethan loves learning more about hunting and being a boy.

Isaac is 4 and loves to help out mom. He is quite thoughtful and is more than happy to help with housework. He is one of the strengths in our family... reminding us to have morning family prayer and family time.

As many of you know, our third son was still-born on July 13. The hospital released him to us so that we could take him to Logan, where he is buried. It was all too bitter sweet.

We are also excited to be expecting our 4th child July 5, 2008. The boys are very happy and can't wait to help and hold the baby.

We love you all. Merry Christmas!

Nathaniel, Sarah, Ethan, Isaac and Sylus Cox
