Ode to Mema

Mom, You are amazing and a wonderful grandma to my boys. You will be missed!

Mema with her grandsons.

Mema holding Leo.

Leo's blessing

Since my mom is leaving to move to Virginia in 1 day, we made an executive decision and had Leo blessed.

I had to share this picture because it's rare to get Nathaniel to smile in a picture.

1. The toilet paper has to come over the roll (not under)
2. I have to make my bed with hospital corners
3. I'm not much into baking cookies, only because I suck at it. My favorite are the Nestle Tolehouse premade kind. Mmmmmm....

Son like Mother

A commercial came on today for Go-gurts. A boy is sitting on the steps and takes a bite of the gogurt. Then you see him sitting on the ground with his feet in front on the sidewalk and then through a park. He eventually ends back at his front steps. When the commercial was over, Ethan said that the kid was going to have grass stains. I wanted to roll over laughing because he didn't even think what the kid did was cool, Ethan was thinking like his mom. HEY! It may be sad, but my boys future wives are going to thank me (I hope)!

35 Weeks...

So I'm not really fond of taking pictures of myself when I'm feeling pretty huge, but I decided that it was important to post this so that Emily can see that I'm really not all that cute pregnant. Not to mention that my weight is already 15 lbs more than I was with the first two pregnancies... and I still have 4 weeks to go. So here you go Emily, enjoy.

Fishing

We took the boys fishing yesterday up in Logan. Nathaniel has taken the boys fishing many times... I prefer to sit at home. Anyhow, I went with the boys and was taken back at how grown up my boys are getting. Ethan was baiting a hook. Nothing makes a mom more proud than to see her son baiting a hook. Both boys had a turn at holding the pole underneath instructions by Nathaniel to slowly reel in the hook.
